Change something in the Fabric, and it changes in our world, and vice versa. With this knowledge, someone has been tearing apart the Fabric for an unknown purpose, causing both objects and events to simply disappear from reality. When Gwen and her friends learn of this disaster unfolding in the Fabric, they have no choice but to investigate the cause of the disappearances, and Gwen's unknown, unwilling connection to them.
